Bright Stars FC coach Paul Kiwanuka is confident his side will bounce back following their 1-0 loss to KCC FC in the Uganda Premier League (UPL) on Friday at Lugogo.
The loss; their first in the season saw them slip to 6th from 4th on the log and Kiwanuka admitted they lost to a better side though he blamed the loss on missing three of his first team members.
I am proud of my players despite the loss. We lost to a better side and to a quality goal but again, we were missing three members of our team who are on suspension
The Kawempe based side were without senior players Jimmy ‘Kacanga’ Kakooza and Abubaker Tabula and youthful striker Hassan Kikoyo.
Bright Stars’ next UPL game is next Friday at home to newly promoted Rwenshama who are winless so far this season.
“We’ll have Kacanga and Kikoyo back for the game and I am optimistic we’ll do what is required of us to get victory.
