URA FC 1-1 Soana FC
Soana FC have put an end to URA FC’s winning run after holding the Tax Collectors to a 1-1 draw in a game played at Mehta stadium, Lugazi.
Alex Isabirye’s side headed into the game on a run of three victories but found it hard to earn a 4th victory in a row.
Robert Ssentongo gave the hosts a deserved lead in the 15th minute with his 7th of the campaign and his 6th in four games but Rashid Kyambadde made it 1-1 in the 27th minute.
After this, URA FC pressed for a winner but the Soana FC defence stood still to hold on to their second point of the season.
Two points dropped saw the former champions slip to 5th on the log with 13 points from 8 games while Soana now jumped from the bottom to second from bottom with two points same as Rwenshama but the Mityana based side has a worse goal difference.
