Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has sent a strong warning to fans who plot to deal in fake match day tickets not to access the stadium.

We urge fans to buy Uganda Vs Ghana tickets from the designated official selling points and avoid the black markets because they will be caught
Ahmed Hussein, FUFA’s spokesman told Kawowo Sports.

The match day tickets hit the market on Monday with a sizeable number of fans responding on the initial day.
However, by Tuesday, fans had started to buy the tickets in bulk.

Kawowo Sports visited the Total, City Oil and Gapco branches within the city to access the situation.
We have sold half a booklet now and we expect more fans to come by the close of the week
Mohammed Ziri, a sales agent at City Oil, Nakawa revealed.

Uganda hosts Ghana in a do–or-die AFCON group E qualifier at Namboole Stadium this Saturday.
