Bright Stars FC 2-1 Entebbe FC

Fred Kajoba earned his maiden victory as Bright Stars FC coach after his side edged Entebbe FC in a Uganda Premier League match played at Lugogo.

Two second half goals from Kakembo Akram and Jimmy Lule cancelled out Nasser Muzamir’s goal which had given the visitors a rare lead.
Muzamir converted from the spot at the stroke of half time after referee Ali Kaddu judged Akram Kakembo to have fouled in the area.

After the break, the hosts came out differently launching attack after attack but Anthony Bongoole and Jimmy Lule were culprits for missing from close range.
However, the pressure finally yielded as Ali this time round pointed to the spot after a foul in the area by Entebbe.

Akram Kakembo made no mistake but sent the goalie the wrong way for the equalizing goal in the 65th minute.
With five minutes to full time, Lule found the back of the net with a beautiful free kick to seal victory.

The win lifts Bright Stars FC to 8th on the 16 team log with 16 points while Entebbe FC remain 3rd from bottom on 7 points.
Kajoba declined to speak to the media at the end of the game.
