SC Villa 1-1 Simba SC

SC Villa lost a good opportunity to go leapfrog KCC FC and go second after being held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Simba SC at Ssaza Ground, Mityana.

Karim Ndugwa gave the 16 league time a half time lead but Simba equalised in the second period thanks to Alex Witaba’s goal.

Ndugwa’s goal was his 8th of the campaign and now leads the goal scoring charts ahead of URA FC and Police FC’s Robert Ssentongo and Umar Kasumba respectively.

The draw means SC Villa have now failed to win only their second game at home after losing 1-0 to KCC FC earlier.
The Jogoos remain 3rd on the table with 23 points; six behind log leaders Vipers SC who edged SCVU 1-0 at Buikwe.
