Lweza F.C Vs Kira Young F.C – Wankulukuku Stadium

Uganda Premier League debutant side, Lweza Football Club locks horns with Kira Young Football Club on Friday at the Mutesa II stadium in Wankulukuku.

Coming to the fixture, Lweza F.C has has not picked maximum points in the last 4 fixtures – the best result being that 1 all draw against Bright Stars F.C that had followed back to back losses against URA, Express and Bul F.C.

Still having issues convincing coach Villai Bianomugisha resume his coaching duties, Lweza F.C, who lost their outing last week, 0-1 against Sadolin in Jinja have had a tale of scenes since joining the league.

Uganda Cranes Striker, Michael Sserumaga, who had been relegated to the bench against Sadolin F.C is fit again to start the game.

Ayub Kisaliita, skipper Ibrahim Kiyemba and the club’s leading striker, Fred Kalanzi (on three goals) will be looked at as the push-and-pull factors for Lweza F.C.

Kira Young F.C on the other hand nearly missed winning the last fixture after that 90th unfortunate own goal against Simba F.C at Namboole last Friday.

The major challenge that awaits the team coached by Paul ‘latest’ Nkata and Moses Basena is that 4 of the club starters just returned to the team from the 3300KM journey.

Goal Keeper, Ashadu Bugembe, midfielders Derrick Teko, Baker Lukooya and striker Brian Nkuubi only returned to training on Thursday from the Zanzibar journey with the Uganda Sand Cranes.

The 4 will be joined by three other inspirational figures in Moses Ndaula, Ronald Lubega and defender Marlon Tangawuzzi in a quest for the three points.
