KCC FC attacking midfielder Brian Majwega is on the verge of sealing a move to Tanzania’s Azam FC.

The attacking midfielder caught the attention of the Tanzania moneybags while featuring for KCC FC in the 2014 Kagame Cup held in Kigali, Rwanda where the Ugandan champions finished fourth.

“It’s almost a done deal,” one KCC FC official who preferred anonymity told Kawowo Sports.

The Tanzania mini-transfer window closes on Monday but reports indicate Majwega will be Azam player before that deadline.

The Vodacom Premier League champions have so far made two signings in the window netting El Merriekh and Ivorian defender Pascal Serge Wawa and also Taifa Stars midfielder Amir Kiemba on loan from Simba.

If all goes as reported, Majwega will join ex-KCC FC Coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe who signed a two year deal as assistant to Cameroonian John Omog.

Azam is former home to KCC FC striker Brian Umony and current Simba defender Joseph Owino.
