Close to one hundred and ninty golfers have teed off in the annual Uganda Golf Club Ladies Section Golf Series December Turkey Trot at the par 72 Kitante golf course this morning.
“It’s a tournament that we hold annually at the Uganda Golf Club and is hosted by the Ladies Section of the Uganda Golf Club,” Kathy Kabenge, the Ladies Captain at the Uganda Golf Club said. “There will be an overall winner and several awards to be won at the tournament.”

The one day tournament is sponsored by Quality Cuts as the season year ender at the Uganda Golf Club. Notable golfers expected to play include Uganda Golf Club’s Joseph Mawejje, Gideon Kagyenzi, Gerald Kabuye, Becca Mwanja, Titus Okwong, Eva Magala, Ruth Ssali, Kabenge, Jovia Otim, Gloria Mbaguta, Flavia Namakula, Evelyn Asiimwe, Sheila Kesiime, Ram Shaban, Karanja Karubiu, Jimmy Alemiga.
