Rauf Kabir Essa and Aaron Nsamba of the Gaz rally team are set to embark on their second event outside Uganda on Sunday 21st December in Morogoro, Tanzania.
Rauf in his subaru impreza N10, will be in his home town, for his fourth rally and second outside Uganda, yearning for his first podium finish.
With the end of the season rapidly approaching, as Rauf told Kawowo Sports, the Gaz rally team will be looking for another positive result for the development of the team in East Africa and for the future.

I would like to keep the momentum going and let the crew have a change in East Africa. We are on a long break in Uganda and I would not like to stay out of the sport for that long. All in all its December season.
Rauf is set to battle with big names from Tanzania like Gurjit Singh, Dharam Pandya, Gerald Miller, Randeep among others. He however told Kawowo Sports that he is using the event to gain experience, besides being unfamiliar with the routes he believes he will do all he can to settle for the best position.
We want to gain experience and see what position we come out. Of course we will be keeping the car in shape for the Sprint on 26th.
However, much as he is yearning for the podium, all he will have to pray that after reccing the routes, his machine and co-driver will do their part to lift him to his dream.
