Uganda Cranes striker Daniel ‘Mzee’ Sserunkuma has requested Simba fans to remain calm and promised that goals will soon come.
Speaking to Tanzania’s leading sports blog Bin Zubeiry, the striker who joined Msimbazi from Kenya Premier League winners Gor Mahia after top scoring in the league stated.
I know the fans at Simba expected big things to come from me as soon as possible but it’s not easy. It’s a new club in a new country and a different league. It takes time to adapt especially given the different playing style but am confident they will soon see the best of me.
Since joining Simba, Sserunkuma has played four games scoring two goals albeit all coming in a friendly.
He is yet to score in a competitive match for the Msimbazi.
