Uganda’s representatives at the 2015 Mapinduzi Peace Cup KCC FC will face Zanzibar’s Police FC in the quarter finals.
This is after they finished top of group B with seven points — same as Azam though Abdallah Mubiru’s charges had a better goal difference (4) as compared to Azam’s 2.
Police will be KCC FC’s other home opponent in the tourney after playing Mtende and KMKM.
Other quarter finals will see Azam take on Mtibwa Sugar, Yanga SC will play JKU while Simba face Jangombe in the first of the four fixtures which are scheduled for Wednesday January 7 before others get underway on Thursday.
The semi-finals may see a repeat of last year’s final if KCC FC and Simba overcome their respective opponents. All fixtures will be played at Aman stadium.
