Kenya Premier League back to back winners Gor Mahia have confirmed the signing of Ugandan midfielder Aucho Khalid from Tusker FC.
Aucho who spent two seasons at the Brewers is among the 17 players unveiled by Gor Mahia at Nyayo stadium on Thursday as new acquisitions ahead of the 2015 season.
Also unveiled is former Masaka LC left back Augustine Walusimbi and ex-Rwanda U-20 forward Farouk Ssentongo.
Aucho is seen as a viable replacement for outgoing Cranes star Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito.
Meanwhile, the club is close to capturing striker Jacob Keli from rivals AFC Leopards to replace Daniel ‘Mzee’ Sserunkuma who joined Tanzania’s Simba SC.
