The Zambia national football team, Chipolopolo are to arrive in Equatorial Guinea on Friday having set off on commercial flight which will connect to the host nation via Ethiopia.
The team heads to the tournament which kicks off on Saturday with Zambia on duty on Sunday against D.R Congo.
Different squad members have been assigned different numbers and the jersey number previously won by current Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Kalusha Bwalya and 2012 Africa Cup of Nations winning captain Christopher Katongo has been taken over by young midfielder Lubambo Musonda.
Football fans will be keen and ready to watch him in shirt number eleven to judge whether he deserves it during the tournament.
The 19 year old Zambian international footballer who plays for Armenian club Ulisses as a left winger will not be the player to be monitored but also Ronald Kampamba who will wear jersey number nine and Mukuka Mulenga took jersey number ten.
Rainford Kalaba will lead the team as new captain under the guidance of coach Honour Janza.
