Kira Young Football Club has blocked the move involving their team skipper, Baker Lukooya to the league defending champions, Kampala City Council Football Club.
A furious Kira Young F.C Director, Jimmy Lukwago, who stormed the FUFA headquarters on Thursday remarked;
The player (Baker Lukooya) is still contracted at Kira Young F.C. He signed a new agreement for two years on 22nd May 2014. Therefore his contract officially expires on 22nd May 2016
Kawowo Sports investigated about Lukwago’s pleas and indeed discovered that Lukooya still has a valid contract with Kira Young due to expire on 22nd May 2016; as per FUFA Competitions office.
Contract of Lukooya’s Contract with Kira Young F.C:
Lukooya penned a 2 year deal with Kira Young F.C on 22nd May 2014 with a sign on of 12M.
In the agreement, Lukooya signed to receive U.shs 600,000 per month with a transport fee of 5000 per day and U.shs 50,000.
Lukooya reasons otherwise;
I do not have any contract with Kira Young F.C and i am ready to fight for my cause in the players’ court of arbitration.
