After the two opening fixtures in group A on Saturday, action in the 2015 Africa Nations Cup continues on Sunday when 2012 winners Zambia face DR Congo in Ebebyin.

The two nations will be meeting for a record 26 times with DR Congo having enjoyed victory over the Chipolopolo in their only AFCON finals meeting way back in Egypt 1974.

New Zambia skipper Rainford Kalaba who plies his trade with DR Congo’s TP Mazembe, speaking to BBC African Football warned his teams ahead of the tie insisting it may decide their destiny in the group.

DR Congo will be difficult because there are players that we know but they also know how difficult it is to beat Zambia. Winning this game is very important because it will take us to the quarter-finals.

DR Congo will look to Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie and experienced goalie Joseph Kidiaba who holds the record for the oldest player in the tournament.

With Tunisia and Cape Verde set to face off hours later, the winner will take early leadership of the group.
