Sports Club Villa left winger, Aziz Kemba is on the verge of joining Kenyan Premier League (KPL) outfit, Tusker Football Club.
Kemba, 23, has been training with Tusker F.C for the last one week.
The gifted player had struggled for playing time at Sports Club Villa having featured in just 3 games of the team’s 15 first round outings.
Kemba’s Playing Stats:
He has previously played for Gomba Ssaza in the Buganda County Football annual event before he featured for Nkumba University in the Wakiso 5th Division league.
Kemba joined Proline in the 2010/11 season) before he ventured the Rwandan soccer league with SEC football club (2011/12).
In Rwanda, he was christened the name ‘Bizimungu’. He returned back to Uganda at his home town of Jinja and had a brief stint with Uganda Premier League side, Bul F.C.
In August 2013, the dribbling ace with explicit crossing landed a dream move to Iceland with Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja (IBV) Football Club but ironically returned at the onset of 2014.
At SC Villa, Kemba has struggled to find playing time especially under the Sam Ssimbwa.
Should Tusker complete the signing of Kemba, he is set to become the club’s third recruitment of the half season after former AFC Leopards defender James Situma and ex-Gor Mahia midfielder Patrick Oboya.
Tusker Director Charles Obiny is reportedly impressed with the player whose strongest weapon is quick decision making and the ability to involve other teammates into action with support and inter-play.
He can play in central midfield, on the wings and as a center forward.
