Micho summons 100 Players for Continental Duty

All Africa Games Qualifiers:
1st Round:
1st Leg: Mozambique Vs Uganda (20th – 22nd February 2015)
Return leg: Uganda Vs Mozambique(6th – 8th March 2015)
2nd Round:
March – April 2015 : Winner between Uganda/Mozambique Vs Ghana.

Uganda National football team head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sedrojevic, who also doubles as the head tactician for the Under 23 side has summoned 100 players in preparation for Uganda’s All Africa first leg qualifier against Mozambique between 20th – 22nd March 2015 in Maputo.

The FUFA technical committee chairman Hamid Juma released the training programme but ironically he declined to release any name of the players summoned.

We shall have 4 training sessions starting Saturday, 31st January 2015 at Villa Park, Nsambya. Another one will be held at KCCA Stadium, Lugogo on Sunday, 1st February 2015. The other two training sessions will be held on the Friday, 6th February and the following day on Saturday, 7th February 2015

Hamid ‘Midi’ Juma remarked.

Final Training Team:
A final squad of 30 players will be selected from the main pool of the two training sessions who will enter residential training ahead of Mozambique clash.

From the 30, we shall pick the final 20 for the away match

Midi clarified.

FUFA has already named Richard Ochom as the head of delegation for the Mozambique trip.

Frank ‘Video’ Anyau is the assistant coach with Hamid Juma overseeing the programmes, replacing Abdullah Mubiru and George Ssemwogere respectively.

Mubiru and Ssemwogerere have been relieved of their duties.
