Ugandan born footballers at the Mombasa based Kenya Premier side, Banndari, Jimmy Bageya and Brunno Sserunkuma F.C have different tales to testify about their respective careers.

Whereas diminutive forward Jimmy Bageya is smiling with yet another season to offer, teammate, Brunno Sserunkuma is yet to know where he will play from.

This follows Bandari’s sharp sword that rendered 9 players club-less including the left footed ace, Sserunkuma.

Am not sure of my future at the moment but you can not rule out any move to a Ugandan side

Sserunkuma, a former Aurum Roses F.C player told Kawowo Sports on Wednesday.

Bageya remains one of the longest serving Ugandan players in the Kenyan Premier League having featured in Kenya’s top flight league since 2002.

He has since played for Nairobi City Stars F.C, AFC Leopards, Gor Mahia and lately Bandari in the humid coastal town of Mombasa.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
