As preparations for the various teams continue to take shape ahead of the second round league kick off, several teams have played build up games.
Jinja based FUFA Big league side, Kirinya Jinja S.S football club hosts Uganda Premier outfit, Sadolin Piants F.C at Jinja s.s play ground on Thursday.
The match will help us test the players we signed in the January transfer window and the gaps left by Umar Ngobi (off to Botswana) and Yasseri Waibi (to SC Villa).
Sadolin Paints coach, Samadu Musafiri told Kawowo Sports.
Jinja Municipal Council too will use the match to a preparatory mechanism especially after selling their treasured left back Hassan Musana to The Saints F.C.
On the same day, champions, Kampala City Council, who resumed training this week after a week break, hosts FUFA Big league side, Water F.C at Namboole Stadium.
There are a couple of friendly games lined up for various teams throughout the weekend with KCC and URA having booked the national U-23 side on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Paidha Black Angels F.C, after having lost to Kira Young on Tuesday will yet again host another high profile guest team at the Bar Okoro Stadium in Zombo district.
The Black Angels host Congo Premier league side, Ajax F.C on Sunday. Ajax has expressed open interest in Paidha’s leading striker, Villa Oromchan with a tempting $ 15,000 offer.
