Top lady golfer Monica Ntege, will have to be at her very best to retain the 5th edition of the Castle Lite Entebbe Ladies Open that will tee off on Friday at the par 71 Entebbe Club.
Ntege will be going for back to back titles in this invitational tournament that concludes on Saturday with the subsidiary. It will be the first major tournament that the oldest golf club in East Africa will be hosting in the year.
The President of the All Africa Challenge Trophy will be hard pressed to retain her title with Sergeant Flavia Namakula, home lady golfer Irene Nakalembe, Gloria Mbaguta, Harriet Kitaka, Rose Azuba, Katy Kabenge, Eva Magala who are expected to take part in the tournament.
The two day event was sponsored by Castle Lite Spedag- Inter freight, Rwenzori Premium and Swivel Marketing. The past winners of this invitational have been Jasper Kamukama in 2011, Flavia Namakula in 2012, Iddy Madina Hussein of Tanzania in 2013 and Ntege last year.

The subsidiary will see the Men tee off from the ladies tee boxes on Saturday. The mode of play is Medal Format.
