Express FC Vs Simba – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku

URA FC Vs Lweza – Mehta Grounds, Lugazi

Simba will be targeting their first win of the 2014/15 Uganda Premier League second round when they visit Express FC at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku on Friday.

The army side have lost their opening three fixtures and have won just once in their last ten. They travel to Wankulukuku with one thing on their mind, failure to earn at least a point will leave them fighting for survival.

New Coach Moses Basena returns to his former employees who are also yet to perform well though his counterpart Wasswa Bbosa already understands the importance of the fixture.

“It’s a game we want to win to bring back our confidence,” he said. “We want to build on the victory over Entebbe FC and confident my boys will deliver,” he added.

Express FC will miss the services of Uganda Kobs star Shafik Bakaki but in Willy Kavuma, Eric Ssebuguzi and Tadeo Lwanga, they have ammunitions to pile more misery on Simba.

The Red Eagles are 7th on the log with 24 points from 17 games whilst Simba are 12th with 18 points with a game more.

In the other fixture on the day, URA FC fresh from winning away against Madagascar’s ASSM Elgeco Plus host Lweza FC.

The Tax Collectors will be out to make amends after losing not only three points by forfeiture to Soana when they refused to play but also docked three points as per the Fufa Competitions Committee Regulations.

They face a wounded Lweza FC side that lost 3-2 to Bul. FC at home in their previous fixture.

The reverse fixture ended 4-2 in favour of Alex Isabirye’s side who currently sit 6th on the table and victory with a good margin will lift them to 4th.
