Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has acquired a new partner, Bidco group of companies.
Bidco group of companies under the flagship product, White Star Magic Soap has unveiled a three year deal worth U.shs 300M for the national football team, The Cranes.
Announcing the package at Serena Hotel, Katonga Hall, Managing Director of Bidco Uganda Group of Companies, Rao Kodey termed the new partnership as a bold step for the company towards marketing their products to the vast football community in country.
Associating with Uganda Cranes is a deal worthwhile for the further growth of Bidco company and marketing of all its products especially white Star Magic soap.
He said at a brief event attended by the BIDCO General Manager, Surrajit Ghosh and the marketing manager, Sankha S. Chatterjee.
FUFA was represented by the FUFA President, Eng Moses Magogo, CEO, Edgara Watson, Vice Presidents, Denis Mbidde (Marketing) and Darious Mugoye (administration), Chairman, Technical (Hamid Juma), Chairman, FUFA Marketing Committee (Rogers Byamukama) and a cross section of other FUFA officials.

Conflict of Interest: Asked on the possibility of the company’s conflict of interest since they fully sponsor a football club in the national league, FUFA CEO, Watson promised the league set up is independent of the national team.
We are professionals and rules and regulations will be strictly adhered to. Since the sponsorship is for Uganda Cranes and the league is independent, I see no conflict of interest in this instance FUFA Marketing committee chairman committee, Rogers Byamukama lauded his entire marketing team for the job well done.FUFA is committed to looking for many more sponsorships to help the beautiful game develop.
