Orlando Pirates (South Africa) Vs Uganda Revenue Authority (Uganda)

Orlando stadium, Kick off 6pm Ugandan Time

Uganda’s only remaining representatives on the continent URA FC are braced for the first leg clash against South Africa’s Orlando Pirates at Orlando stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The tax men reached the stage after eliminating Madagascar’s ASSM Elgeco Plus 4-2 on aggregate whilst the Buccaneers got a bye to the stage.

URA FC Coach Alex Isabirye is confident his side can pick a decent result to take to the second leg.

“We are optimistic of getting a result against Orlando Pirates,” he said.

“They are strong a side and one of the most respected clubs on the continent but my boys are ready for the battle,” he added.

URA will be without lead striker Robert Ssentongo and defender Jonathan Mugabi who are suspended for the tie but Isabirye still believes the available players will do the job.

“No denying the fact that both Ssentongo and Mugabi will be missed but the available players will do the job.”

Brian Bwete is expected to start between the post with Simeon Masaba, Sam Senkoomi, Deo Othieno and Sam Sekitto completing the back four.

In midfield, Isabirye is expected to play Oscar Agaba and Yasser Mugerwa as the two anchormen with Said Kyeyune, Feni Ali and Allan Munaaba all helping out Frank Kalanda who is expected to lead the line.

On the other hand, Pirates duo of Kermit Erasmus and Lehlohonolo Majoro will lead the hunt for goals.

URA Probable XI:

Brian Bwete (GK), Simeon Masaba, Sam Senkoomi, Deogratius Othieno, Sam Sekitto, Oscar Agaba, Yasser Mugerwa, Feni Ali, Said Kyeyune, Allan Munaaba and Frank Kalanda
