Former SC Villa striker Karim Ndugwa scored his first goal in the Kenya Premier League in AFC Leopards 3-1 win over KCB.

The striker who joined the Ingwe in the January window came on as a substitute in the 58th minute for Denis Dodi and scored in the 84th minute to seal victory for the former champions.

Kenyan international striker Jacob Keli scored a brace while another ex-SC Villa striker Ronald Musana won a late penalty for KCB which was converted by Raymond Murugi.

AFC Leopards move to 3rd place on the log with 12 points from seven games. Ugandan international midfielder Musa Mudde featured for 90 minutes.

Elsewhere, Gor Mahia piled more pressure on Paul Nkata after thrashing his Nairobi City Stars side 3-0.

New kid on the block Victor Ali Abondo broke the deadlock for the back to back KPL champions before goals from Michael Olunga and Ugandan born Rwandan international Meddie Kagere completed the rout to keep K’Ogalo on top of the table with 16 points.

In other games played, Allan Kateregga scored for Ushuru FC in their 2-1 victory over former champions Mathare United while former Maroons FC striker George Abege scored the winner for Coastal side Bandari FC in their 1-0 away win against Tusker FC.

Sam Timbe’s Sofapaka were 1-0 winners over Chemelil Sugar thanks to Enock Agwanda’s lone strike.

Ugandans Johnson Bagoole and Shafik Batambuze featured for 90 minutes for Batoto Bamungu while former SC Villa captain Tonny Ndolo was withdrawn after 58 minutes.
