Lweza Vs SC Villa – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku

Lweza and SC Villa face off in a league clash at Mutesa II stadium Wankulukuku with either side seeking a return to winning ways.

The hosts are winless in six consecutive outings with their previous victory coming on February 21 when they beat Express FC 2-1 at Wankulukuku whilst SC Villa would have gone four without victory save for the boardroom points off Express FC.

With reports that the 16 team league champions have been awarded more three points off URA for allegedly fielding a suspended player – Said Kyeyune in the 1-1 draw, they head into the game on top of the log albeit same points with Vipers but they have a better goal difference.

Lweza FC currently sit 12th on the log and nothing short of victory may leave them on the fringe of relegation.

Lweza FC’s coach, Hamza Kalanzi fully understands this and has urged his players to end the bad run by beating SC Villa. “The boys know what is at stake and will give their all against SC Villa,” he said.

The Oranje will look to strikers Fred Kalanzi, Geoffrey Sserunkuma and midfielders Mike Sserumaga and Dan Wagaluka for inspiration.

On the other hand, SC Villa will hope Erisha Ssekisambu, Steven Bengo, Chrizestom Ntambi and Ronald Muganga don their scoring boots. The reverse fixture ended 2-0 in favour of the Blues.
