The heart of appreciating somebody’s good deeds ranks high among the motivational stints than any other aspect one would ever think of.
The Uganda national golf team, winners of the April best sports performing team award by the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) is surely motivated by the reward.

The golf team won the Africa Golf Zone VI Challenge trophy held at the par 72 Uganda Golf club in Kampala where 9 countries were part of the annual tournament which will be held in Swaziland next year.
The achievement means Uganda becomes only the third nation after South Africa (19 times) and Kenya (once) to win the championship.
We are grateful for USPA for having overwhelmingly voted our team as the best performers of April in the sports circles of Uganda. Surely, this award inspires us to keep on top and win many more

Bukenya, christened Rasta is a member from Lugazi Mehta club, had a rare opportunity to sing for the members at the event.
Amos Kamya, the team’s head coach, who traveled with some of the team players to receive the plaque and U.shs 500,000 prize money attached, lauded USPA for the keen interest of rewarding excelling sportsmen.
This spirit by USPA should indeed continue because in a way or the other, encourages sportsmen to remain focused perform better

Uganda Golf Union (UGU) executive committee member, Herbert Rwamibazi promised USPA members free membership at Kabale Golf Club to keep interest in the game.
USPA convenes every month at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala to meditate upon several sporting aspects with the voting for the month past’s best sports personality the prime agenda.
This sports journalists’ body is supported by several partners that include; Nile Breweries Limited under Nile Special brand, Standard Chartered Bank, Brussels Airlines and Imperial Royale Hotel.
