  • KAYUNGA TOWN COUNCIL Vs REAL GALACTICALS
  • Y.M.C.A Vs NKUMBA SELECT
  • ST. LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY Vs STORMERS.

It will be a mixture of entertainment and diligence as the National Beach Soccer League enters the quarter final stage at Lido Beach on Sunday.

This follows the successful completion of the league.

Makerere University Business School topped the Monsoon group While Kayunga Town Council were  the Hurriken group  winners.

Other teams that made the Last eight are; YMCA, Stormers and Real Galacticals in the Monsoon group while St. Lawrence university, Nkumba Select and Kampala International University made it in Hurriken group.

Title contenders MUBS play KIU, Kayunga Town Council take on Real Galacticals, YMCA play Nkumba Select and St Lawrence University will be taking on Stormers.

It is too close to predict because all the games are equally as epic

MUBS and Kayunga Town Council were the teams to beat in the regular season but play offs have got no formula, as the better team on the day takes it all.

Key Players:

Each of the eight sides have their own talismen to win for them the day. KIU will look to the experience of Geofrey Akabwai and goal poaching exploits of Ismail Kagingo.

MUBS has the magic legs of the two prodigal sons, Baker Lukooya and Brian Nkuubi.

Hamimu Semakula will be a crucial component for Kayunga Town Council against Real Galaticals, who themselves rely on the silky skills of John Revita.

YMCA is against Nkumba Select, whose team skipper Douglas Muganga also closely following league top scorer Mathias Kigonya on the goal scoring charts.

Stormers’ Mathias Kigonya is the leading top scorer with 25 goals. He is closely followed by Ismail Kagingo (KIU) and Nkumba Select’s Douglas Muganga on 24 goals apiece

The play offs will be followed by two semi finals and the official closing on June  24th 2015.
