2014/15 Pepsi National Beach Soccer League:
- Quarter-Finals: MUBS 9-2 KIU
- Makerere University Business School (MUBS) clearly underlined their title aspirations for the 2014/15 Uganda beach soccer league with a 9-2 humiliation of Kampala International University at Lido beach.
-
This was the second of the four quarter final games lined up on the menu.
Prodigal sons, Baker Lukooya and Brian Nkuubi scored a hat trick apiece to see off KIU.
The Nakawa based institution’s other goals came off the feet of Martin Bugembe (2) and a Joackim Golooba’s strike.
Nigerian born Isaac Ishioke had a brace to colour the score line and grant it a second look.
MUBS’ vocal manager, Hilary Kimbugwe has warned the other teams still in contention to keep watch of his team.
“We need this year’s championship. Teams should be aware of the threat my team has posed thus far” Kimbugwe, winner of the institutions’ beach soccer signaled.

Real Galaticals, Stormers and Nkumba Select are the other teams in contention for the trophy, whose defending champion, Kira Young opted not to register this year round.
