Rwanda’s coach Jonny McKinstry believes the Wasps can come to Uganda and overturn the 2-1 aggregate that the Kobs hold in the qualifiers of the U23 African Championships.
While speaking to www.newtimes.co.rw the Irish man said: “If we go about our job in the right way and if we get in behind the Ugandan team and cause them problems, then we can score those goals.”
It’s on that note that Uganda’s coach Micho Sredojevic maintained that no one can threaten the Kobs, especially in Nakivubo.
“No one will threaten us from our own home, we dealt with the long balls from their defenders and we were able to tame their wingers, we will be able to do that against in Saturday”
“Though we need to be calm and respect the opponent, because we still have the second half to play on Saturday, we lead 2-1 after the first half”
Though McKinstry won’t be present for the tie, his assistants Vincent Mashami and Ibrahim Mugisha are not strange to Uganda.
The former learnt part of his trade here, while the latter graduated from an international to a FIFA goalkeeping coach instructor.
