Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport on Thursday evening, the Rwandese U-23 delegation is optimistic of overturning the 2 – 1 first leg deficit suffered last weekend against their Uganda counter parts at the Stade De Amahoro.
The 25 man delegation touched down at 15:35 hours aboard Rwanda Airline Boeing WB 422.
Everything is possible in football. We can easily register the victory in Kampala, the same way Uganda did in Rwanda
Ibrahim Mugisha, the team’s goal keeping coach said.
Mugisha is perhaps saddened by the absence of first choice goal keeper, Olivier Kwezira, who is out after an ankle injury.
We shall miss our goal keeper, but still, these we have are equally measurable to the task at hand
Mugisha, who was between the posts for Uganda Cranes back in the days, added.

Rwanda is accommodated at Hotel Africana in the heart of the Ugandan capital, Kampala.
They are expected to train on Friday evening at Nakivubo stadium.
We trained today (Thursday morning) before we came and we shall just rest before Friday’s programme
Mugisha, speaking fluent luganda added.
Rwanda will miss the services of their head coach, Johnny Mckinstry, who traveled to Europe for a UEFA Pro Licence course.
In the Irish’s absence, the interim head coach is Vincent Mashami with Emmanuel Ruremesha as the first assistant and Mugisha the goal keeping tactician.
Uganda carries a 2-1 aggregate win after team captain Faruku Miya and Muzamiru Mutyaba’s goals with the Rwandan strike coming off Xavio Nshuti’s header.

The winner on aggregate will play Egypt next month for a slot to the Senegal Africa U-23 championship that will take place in late November to December 2015.
The three top finishers qualify directly to represent Africa at the prestigious Olympic games in Brazil.
The fourth placed team in Senegal will play a qualification play – off with another country from Asia.
