Ahead of the second leg of the CAF U-23 Championship qualifier against Rwanda, Uganda Kobs miss the opportunity to get the feel of Nakivubo turf on the eve of the game.
The Kobs arrived at Nakivubo stadium from their residential base at Africa Bible University, Lubowa at around 12 pm on Friday but the heavy rains saw Nakivubo get waterlogged to the extent that the ball couldn’t bounce off soggy surface.
The technical team immediately made a decision to call off training at the stadium and drove back to Lubowa where they are most likely to enjoy the last drills.
The conditions are likely to be same for their counterparts Rwanda U-23 who are set to train at the venue at 4pm as per rules and regulations of FIFA.
