Sat, 30th May 2015 (4 p.m)

Uganda leads 2-1 on aggregate

Barely 24 hours to the Uganda Kobs CAF U-23 second round return leg qualifier against Rwanda at Nakivubo on Saturday, the home side has been boosted by the arrival of CS Safien striker, Yunus Sentamu.

“Sentamu will be with us at the last training session on Friday ahead of the Saturday match” Kenyi Swalleh, the media coordinator confirmed.

The teenager arrived on Thursday evening from Tunisia where he is plying his professional trade on request of the team’s head coach, Micho.

Micho had earlier indicated Sentamu would be released since his club had not registered him for the CAF Champions group stages.

If deemed fit, Sentamu is an able replacement for the injured Umar Kasumba.

He joins John Ssemazi, Fahad Muhammed and Alex Bukenya Kitata the other strikers available.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
