The national U-17 football league resumes on Sunday with six fixtures to be played. Four of these will come in the Nile group and two in Murchsion group.

Two unbeaten sides, KCCA Academy and Kayda lock horns at Nakivubo Blue play ground in a game pundits has already tagged as ‘a clash of egos’.

KCC Academy has already won two games at home and this will be their maiden game away from the confines of Lugogo.

The ‘young Kasasiro lads’ opened up with a 1-0 victory courtesy of Derrick Onyai’s goal and the same player was on target in their second victory over Edgars Youth the coming week.

Onyai remains the team’s talisman and main source for goals as Steven Sserwadda, his striking partner complements.

Kayda opened up their season campaign with a 4-1 home win over visiting Standard High at Nakivubo Blue last Saturday.

In the other Nile group fixtures, Edgars Youth travels over 80 KM away to Masaka recreational stadium for a date against Synergy.

Standard High shall be at their bumpy Lufuka home against Natete based Super Cubs as St Mary’s Heritage host Maroons Youth Academy at the Nabweru town council ground.

In the Murchison group, JEFF entertains Nsambya as Jogoo Young plays life Eternal at Busega.

This is the first time ever that the national league below players below the age of 17 is being held in the country.
