After starting the season with six straight victories, StarTimes Falcons hit the first speed hump on Wednesday night at YMCA.

In a game dubbed “A Case of the Ex”, after the first quarter, as Falcons descended Our Saviour ascended.

Our Saviour who trailed by 9 points after the first period were up by 3 at halftime en-route to a 75-53 win.

Falcons’ import, Ariel Okall siad they lost focus as a team an eventually the game.

“I think we lost focus in the third quarter. We had to go out there (after halftime) and close the game but we gave it away instead. The guys lost focus, they lost their cool and everybody was doing their own thins” Okal told Kawowo Sports.

Despite Our Saviour’s effort on the night and the quality of the players, the athletic center dod not give Our Saviour credit dubbed the league new comers a weak team.

“Winning a championships starts with such games. You can not start losing games this early especially to a weak team. Our Saviour is not a team that can match up Falcons in skill, talent and experience” the disappointed center added.

However, Okall admitted the loss was a wake up call for the team going forward.

“This is a wake up call. We have been winning and winning andit’s now time to back to the drawing board and put in more work” he concluded.
