2015 MX championship leader Maxim Van Pee has sent shock waves throughout the Ugandan motocross scene on the back of some stunning performances this year.
Riders will be heading back to the tracks for the fourth round of the National MX championship on June 7th at the Motorsports Arena Busiika.
Contented with a perfect start in 2015, Van Pee has now thrown down the gauntlet to other riders especially former champions Arthur Blick and Asaf Natan.
Arthur Blick is eager to take on the challenge.
“Yes Natan and I shall wok to finishing ahead of Maxime in Busiika. “We named it the battle of titans and we shall prove to him who the seniors are,” says Blick.
However, Van Pee says his not afraid of the duo and he is ready for the battle.
“Am so happy for the battle. It will help me prove my pace once again. “I saw Arthur train and his a bit faster, but am not scared because am also training,” said Van Pee.
Van Pee currently leads the standings with 173 points ahead of Natan and Blick on 150 points and 141 respectively.
Meanwhile, a similar battle is also expected in other classes especially the MX 2 class between Alestair Blick and Ali Omar Yasser.
85cc will see Fortune Sentamu and Wazir Omar square out for top honours.
