Lydia Mutesi and UPDF captain Evelyn Asiimwe, won the overall and Ladies group A at the social Martyrs Day golf tournament that was held at the par 72, Kitante golf course at the Uganda Golf Club on Wednesday.
Palm Valley’s Mutesi, had the best score of the day with 39 stableford points while the men’s Group A was won by Faiz Alam with 37 points group B was claimed by Sam Sejjaka, with 36 points on count back.
Group C was claimed by Dan Mudumba with 37 points Honorable John Nasasira, was winner group D with 32 points.
UPDF captain Evelyn Asiimwe, was the ladies Group A winner with 38 points on count back. Group B was claimed by Aidha Khamis with 32 points focus now switches to the Uganda Golf Union event at the 9 hole Tororo Golf Club, that will be hosting the Tororo Open golf championship.
