INTERNATIONAL BUILD UP MATCH:

Ahead of Tuesday’s international build up against Gambia and the Saturday AFCON 2017 qualifier with Botswana, Uganda Cranes Kenyan based midfielder; Khalid Aucho has joined the team camp at Sky Hotel in Ntinda.
Aucho, a left footed midfield player with Kenyan premier league side, Gor Mahia presents the options and opportunities in the department which has 8 other midfield players currently on the team.
The arrival of Aucho will definitely energize the competition level for team slots in a section that already has Derrick Tekkwo, Boban Zirintusa, Yasser Mugerwa, Kezironi Kizito, Farouk Miya, Saidi Kyeyune in central midfield as the trio of William Luwagga Kizito, Godfrey Walusimbi and Brian Majwega compete for the flank roles.
The other professionals on the team include, the Ethiopian based trio of goal keeper, Robert Odongkara, Isaac Isinde and Brian Umony.
Others are; goal keeper, Denis Onyango (Mamelodi Sundowns), Geofrey Massa (Bloemfontein Celtics), Alex Kakuba (Estoril), Wiliam Luwagga Kizito (Sporting Colviha), Yunus Sentamu (CS Safien), Boban Zirintusa (Polokwane) Godfrey Walusimbi, Aucho Khaldi (Gor Mahia) and the two Lebanon based defenders, Richard Kasagga and Denis Iguma.
Uganda is set to play Gambia on Tuesday (international build up game) before facing Botswana on Saturday (AFCON 2017 group D qualifier) on Saturday, 13th June 2015. Both games will be played at the Nelson Mandela stadium, Namboole.
The team has entered residential training on Sunday at Sky Hotel in Ntinda. They train at Namboole on Monday (mid-day) before the Gambian team engage in the last training session later at 4:00PM.
Gambia is preparing for the AFCON 2017 qualifier against South Africa as Uganda hosts Botswana in a group D qualifier.
