Kenya Premier League team, Sofapaka football club have tabled an enviable $ 20,000 offer for Kampala football club striker, Herman Wasswa.

According to the player’s personal manager cum agent, Geofrey Kayemba, the deal will be concluded in the next 48 hours.

They (Sofapaka) have presented their bid for Herman Wasswa worth $ 20,000 and we are still negotiating to see if it can be improved better

Kayemba confirmed to Kawowo Sports on Friday.

The KCC striker is now a free agent after the expiration of current contract in May 2015.

Wasswa, who has previously played for Masaka Local Council and Sports Club Villa scored 8 goals to finish the 7th best goal scorer in the 2014/15 season of the Azam Uganda Premier league.

URA’s Robert Sentongo was top scorer with 15 goals in 25 games played.

Sofapaka chairman, Elly Kalekwa is in Uganda to finalize the deal with Wasswa’s agent, Kayemba.

Wasswa will join Shafik Batambuze at Sofapaka, the other Ugandan in the team coached by former Uganda Cranes assistant, Sam Timbe.
