KCC Vs SC Villa- Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole Tuesday, 16th June 2015

In a fresh twist of events, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has changed the match referees meant to handle the Uganda Cup final between SC Villa and KCC. FUFA competitions director, Ali Mwebe spoke on fufa radio with the details.

We now confirm that Kenyan referees will handle the Uganda Cup final. We want to erase any chance of biasness. It happens world over.

This cancels the earlier statement by the FUFA standing committee that had suggested Alex Muhabi and other assistants to handle the final. Muhabi and other FIFA referees, Hussein Bugembe (first assistant), Ronald Katenya (second assistant) and Joseph Ochom (fourth official) had been earlier on Monday confirmed for the final.

The Uganda Cup replay is slated for Tuesday, 15th June 2015 at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole. The pre-match meeting on Tuesday morning at 9AM in Namboole and the security meeting in the afternoon at CPS boardroom remain standing.

Odhiambo Oliver Omondi (Referee) is the official who will handle the final.

Odhiambo will be assisted by Otieno Andrew Juma and Tony Mudayi Kidiya.

Alex Muhabi will be the 4th official with Harunah Mawanda the match assessor as the FUFA second vice president, Darious Mugoye shall be the match commissioner.

The aborted match 10 days ago was handled by FUFA referee, Robert Donney, whose final match report has left everyone amazed with three more red cards indicated on top of the publicly shown red card to Hakim Ssenkumba.
