Ugandan striker, Herman Wasswa completed his transfer from Kampala City Council (KCC) Football Club to Kenyan Premier League giants, Sofapaka F.C on Friday evening.

Wasswa, who traveled to the Kenyan capital, Nairobi on Thursday has signed a two year deal with a sign on fee of $ 22,000.

Excited about the move to KPL, Wasswa said;

I am excited to have joined Sofapaka F.C. I will repay the faith the club has vested in me with great service at all times

It has been a hectic deal but finally its done. I believe Wasswa will perform well and we are willing to go beyond Kenya before the end of the contract

The sharp goal poacher, who has been at KCC for two seasons joins former Uganda Cranes assistant coach, Sam Timbe at the club.

Wasswa will earn $ 1500 per month as wages with special match allowances and bonuses.

Key of Wasswa’s attributes as a center forward is the positional sense and the shooting abilities with decent dribbling abilities.

He has previously played for Masaka Local Council, Sports Club Villa and KCC in the Uganda Premier league for the past five years scoring 58 goals in 111 appearances.
