URA FC Vs Bul. FC – Mehta Grounds, Lugazi @ 4:30pm

All eyes will be on BUL FC Coach Alex Isabirye when his side pays a courtesy visit to former bosses URA FC at Mehta Grounds, Lugazi on Tuesday.

It will be the first time Isabirye returns to the stadium in the opposite dugout this season after leaving the club at the end of last season.

Isabirye is a famous figure at Lugazi having played for SCOUL and also guided URA FC to league and Cup triumphs in his two coaching stints at the club.

Speaking ahead of the game, Isabirye told Kawowo Sports that he is now at BUL FC and will be aiming to have a go at the club.

“It’s a different season with a different club,” he said. “My aim is to see us collect maximum points against URA FC,” he added.

Just last week, the Jinja based club unveiled new signings and a good number are former URA FC players something that assistant URA FC Coach Kefa Kisala, formerly at BUL FC thinks this will make the tie interesting as well as tough.

It’s not just Alex (Isabirye) in the opposite dugout but so many familiar faces too. A lot of their players have played here before and will be eager to get the best against us which makes the tie interesting but tough as well.

URA FC won this fixture 2-1 last season with Peter Lwasa and Yasser Mugerwa scoring for the Tax collectors whilst Joshua Masene (now at Sadolin Paints) scored for Bul. FC.

URA FC will task Robert Ssentongo, Frank Kalanda and new signing Villa Oromcham to look for goals but the side are still without new signing Derrick Tekkwo who is out injured.

For the visitors, former URA FC players Derrick Walulya and James Kasibante will be key while Augustine Nsumba is out.

The game is the first fixture for either side after missing out on day one.
