Following a poor start to life in the Uganda Premier League, The Saints FC wants to sign George ‘Best’ Nsimbe as their head coach Kawowo Sports has learnt.

The Namanve based side have only managed a single point from a possible nine following losses to Vipers and KCCA and a draw against Police FC.

In the process, the side has scored just once conceding five in the process and remains in relegation zone alongside Maroons FC and Lweza who are yet to collect a point.

Nsimbe is currently club-less after parting ways with CECAFA Kagame Cup champions Azam FC and declared himself available.

It remains to be seen whether if a deal is struck between the two parties, current head coach Harunah Kebba will stay as part of the coaching staff.

Nsimbe has previously coached KCCA FC, Victors and Fire Masters FC in the top division side winning three league titles with the former and a Uganda Cup with Victors FC.
