Nkumba away to Ndejje for a positive result | University Football League

Ndejje University Vs Nkumba University

The fourth edition of the University Football League (UFL) enters the second and last phase this Wednesday, 23^rd September 2015 as the first quarter final duel between Nkumba and Ndejje Universities takes center stage.

Nkumba University travels to the jungles of Luweero for the opening round.

This is one of the four quarter final fixtures lined up after the league took a break in April 2015 when the universities took a recess.

Patrick Ssebuliba, Nkumba’s sports tutor cum head coach is well aware of the significance for the this away tie.

“We have been training well and feel ready to show what is on ground” Sebuliba told a news conference last week.

Left footed winger, Martin Sseruwagi, team skipper Douglas Muganga, strikers Faizo Muwawu and Roch Somoka are the expected talismen to lift Nkumba University.

On Thursday, KIU hosts Makerere University in the other quarter final match to be played next week on Thursday, 24^th September 2015.

Uganda Martyrs University (UMU), Nkozi shall entertain Uganda Christian University (UCU) the coming Wednesday after the first two quarter final matches.

Defending champions, MUBS take on tricky opposition Kyambogo University on 1^st October 2015 in a highly billed clash that majority of spectators are eyeing to watch.

The finals of the fourth edition shall be played at Nelson Mandela National stadium on the 7th November 2015.

 Thurs, 15^th October 2015 – MUBS Vs Kyambogo – MUBS Campus, Nakawa
