Zimbabwe overtook joint leaders Kenya and South Africa while Uganda remained put at 4th position going into the final round of the 8th edition of the Africa Amateur Golf Team Championship at the Limuru Golf and Country Club in Kiambu County, Kenya.

Zimbabwe took the lead after today’s third round of action this morning and have a total score 662 gross going into’s decisive round while South Africa are two shots off the leaders with 664 gross with Kenya(the hosts) in third position with 664 gross while Uganda kept it’s 4th position with a closing round of 672.

Uganda’s best golfer in today’s round was Ronald Otile, who returned with 1 under par 71 gross with Ronald Bukenya scoring 5 over par 77 gross while Adolf Muhumuza was 6 over par 78 with those being the best scores for Team Uganda. Daniel Baguma returned 7 over par 79 to give Uganda an average score of 672 gross.
