Unlike other UPL fixtures that were scheduled to take place today but got postponed due to the ongoing Cranes’ activities, The SCVU-JMC game that was at Mandela National Stadium Nambole unfortunately fell in the same boat but totally because of different reasons.

As it usually happens for most Ugandan pitches, the Namboole pitch got flooded after the heavy afternoon down pour and came as no shocker.

The first 45 minutes of the game went underway but the referee of the day Anna Akoyi thought it wise to discontinue play due to unplayable pitch .

The home team will however, have the rain to blame because they had the game under control .

SCVU were the likely team to score in the 45 minutes played as they attacked their opponents from onset and looked set to record their second home victory.

Captain Hamza Dezu had his shot hit the goal post in the 19th minute . The home team also saw their perfect move that involved Asuman Herwech and Dezu headed away by right back Isah.

The happier team on the other hand has to be JMC the visiting team as they were completely off it .Their only shot on target came in the 26th minute when the diminutive winger Ramadan Ajab volleyed wide the ball but as looked a solid team .

The date for this fixture will be communicated in days to come.
