URA FC 4-0 Lweza FC

Former champions URA FC ended the first half of the league on a high as they mauled Lweza 4-0 at Mehta Grounds, Lugazi.

Lweza’s Fred Okot opened the scoring for the hosts with an own goal before Said Kyeyune and Frank Kalanda extended the lead to 3-0 at half time.

Veteran striker Robert Ssentongo made it 4-0 after the break to ensure Kefa Kisala’s side maximum points on day.

The result came on the back of a morale boosting 3-2 win over KCCA on Saturday and lifts the Tax Collectors to fourth on the log on 24 points just five behind leaders KCCA who were frustrated with a barren draw at Kavumba against Soana.

Lweza FC ends the first round with 16 points and are placed 12th on the 16 team table.
