CHAN 2016 Rwanda:

Ivory Coast has released their official 23 man squad set to play at the 2016 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament in Rwanda.

Head coach, Michel Dussuyer included defender Kouassi Diallo Romuald among the 23 players.

Diallo turns out for second division side, Williamsville Athletic Club (WAC). He is the only player on the team who plays out of the Ivorian top flight.

Dussuyer’s squad is made up three goalkeepers, eight defenders, six midfielders and six forwards.

The team is now in South Africa ahead of two friendlies lined up against Guinea and Nigeria on 8th and 11th  January 2016 respectively.

Group A:

Nigeria, is making their third appearance at the tournament and are in Group A alongside the hosts Rwanda, Gabon and Morocco.
