Giants KCCA and SC Villa are quietly continuing to carry on business in the window.

Rumor is ripe from Lugogo that the club wants to loan goalie Benjamin Ochan to Police FC with reports that his opposite at the Cops Douglas Kisembo is part of the deal.

Ochan has had a wonderful first half for the club but all signs are clear the technical team isn’t convinced.

Surprisingly, the club is also rumored to have loaned Yasin Mugabi to The Saints although no official communication has been made.

With no goalkeeper announced yet, the move looks ridiculous but with gossip clear that the log leaders are targeting Bright Stars goalie Mathias Kigonya and Police’s Douglas Kisembo.

The two have been fantastic in the first half of the season for their respective clubs with Kigonya keeping a record eight clean sheets.

SC Villa wants Owino and Bagoole

Reports from Villa Park indicate the club is eyeing central defender Joseph Owino who has already handed in a transfer request at Sportspesa Premier League side Sofapaka for failure to respect his contract.

Owino; a former SC Villa player who was part of the 2009 Uganda Cup winning side is seen as a perfect defender given his experience that can spur the club to glory in the season.

In addition, ex-Iganga and Express FC defensive midfielder Johnson Bagoole is also on the SC Villa wish list.

Like Owino, Bagoole wants his contract at Sofapaka terminated for the club’s failure to financially respect.

In the same vein, the Uganda Cup winners haven’t given up on Herman Wasswa although the striker’s move to rivals KCCA seems imminent.

As usual, we shall keep you posted on the development.
