Reports coming in from Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) indicate that midfielder Faluku Kawooya has parted ways with the club.

Club director, Muhammed Nsereko is understood to have pocketed Uganda shillings 6m from KCCA F.C who have reportedly courted the player for quite some time now.

Kawooya whose contract with SCVU expires next season, has netted 4 league goals so far.

He is understood to have signed a one year contract with KCCA that will see him earn above 600,000 Ugx

This development comes amidst uncertainties at the club that have seen three players including Pate Wanok, Ramathan Yakubu and Kawoya himself petition the club to Uganda Football Players’ Association for allegedly non payments.

According to the source, “lack of funds in the club” triggered this move and believes both Nicholas Kagaba and Lukwago are in the verge of exiting the club because of the same reasons.

KCCA has on many occasions done business with SCVU so one can never rule out this possibility especially with the current situation at the Club [SCVU].

Martin Mpuga, Denis Okot, Dan Nsubuga are some of the players who were signed by KCCA from Victoria University.
