Forget the goals so far, did you know that a total of 368 players from a total of 142 clubs are present at the 2016 Africa Nations Championship in Rwanda?

Now that you have known, do you know which clubs are most represented and which nation has the most represented clubs? Worry not, you have the answers.

According to CAF, Guinea’s AS Kaloum is the most represented football club at the championship with 10 players.

The former Guinea champions are followed by Rwanda’s APR FC, Angola’s Primeiro de Agosto as well as AS Vita of DR Congo with eight players each whilst AS Garde Nationale of Niger and Onze Createurs of Mali having seven players.

In Uganda’s the case, the most represented club is KCCA FC with six players in defenders Denis Okot Oola, Hassan Wasswa Dazo, Timothy Awani and Joseph Ochaya, midfielders Ivan Ntege and Muzamiru Mutyaba.

Cameroon and Guinea squads represent the most clubs with 13 while Guinea and Rwanda have least club representation with six.

For Uganda’s case, the squad is a representative of eight in clubs; KCCA, Vipers, Bright Stars, SC Villa, URA FC, Proline FC, Lweza FC and Express FC.

Meanwhile, new KCCA recruit Okhuti is registered as player from Express FC perhaps due to late registration by FUFA after his transfer from the Wankulukuku based side.
